@@Ian_Livesey Correct, but not always that easy to discern in real time from one angle, which was my point. Doesn't justify the assistant ref getting it wrong though, they're supposed to be able to do that.

Did wonder whether or not Jackovlevs got sent off after the whistle, looked like the ref was going to, but didn’t follow him when he failed to return after being asked to. Might have happened in the tunnel afterwards, no idea though.
