LITTLE KNOWN FACT: If you go back to the balcony on Booster's Tower after Peach joins your party, you'll find Booster out there with the Snifits looking up at the sky and wondering when his next bride will fall from the sky. Then if you go back again after you beat Valentina, you'll find her there with Booster trying to convince her to marry him. At first she refuses, but then he whispers something in her ear, and whatever it is causes her to fall for him. This explains why they're seen getting married in the ending scene.

Yyyyyeah, it's clear that Nintendo was the one who was writing the story, that's why the story was so lacking for a SquareSoft game. I don't get why Nintendo could've just let Square do the story writing. ...Oh wait, that's right. Nintendo most likely just asked Square to implement their RPG mechanics while *Nintendo* did the story writing. i think i know what charriii means by [COMPLETELY LEGAL COPY OF SUPER MARIO RPG] and that's playing on a PC emulator called ZSNES. i had the same problems he described but luckily ZSNES has save states so i could recover from a freeze. and btw i could never get the blue star piece on the emulator. idk why but every time the game would freeze upon me reciving the blue star piece. or to be more specific im talking about the star piece you get from the shark pirate dude.

This can only be accessed on your first visit to the castle, jumping on Toad's head as he makes his way to the back leading you to the Chancellor. If you do not get it on this first visit, you can never get to it on that file. The random Toad wandering the hall nearby never goes close enough to get up, and when you return with Peach later Toad zooms ahead and doesn't give an opportunity to jump on him.

Peach constantly gets kidnapped cuz if she uses even 0.001% of her power to protect herself, she'll destroy the world. That's why you fight Culex in that trippy void area. That's the only world that can easily handle her power. In Super Princess Peach, she's learned how to handle her powers a little easier, but she still doesn't use them much, just to be safe. Do *not* underestimate Princess Toadstool. She *can* and *will* end you if you're not careful.

I dunno if you got the references or not but Mack is a knife, Bowyer is a bow, the Axem Rangers rode a giant Blade and Yaridovich should have been renamed to Speardnik or something to keep the pun (Yari means Spear in Japanese). Smithy is literally an evil blacksmith creature. All of his creatures (except shysters) are some kind of weapon that you would use in a normal JRPG.

I remember downloading this game to my Wii and playing through a good chunk of it and there was like some point where all my stars that I collected were taken away and I didn't figure out where I was supposed to go. I don't recall if this game was actually on the SNES classic which I currently have and as far as I can tell I don't believe it's on the SNES online service on the switch, but hopefully it will be cuz I'd love to actually try to get through this game entirely. Oh man after hearing the game dialogues full voice acted now I really Wish Square Enix and Nintendo would remake this game more than anything. Happy 25th anniversary Super Mario RPG even though we probably never going to receive any news about this game this year

Yeah, but I think the story should be more handled by Square Enix instead of Nintendo. Charrii5 was also able to point out the flaws of characters like Booster, Valentina (well, not entirely), and the Axem Rangers.

Considering that Gaz refers to the Shooting-Star Shot as "custom, patented, one and only" it leads me to believe that Gaz did some wicked modifications to the Geno doll to make it shoot harder than it was supposed to. Like some kind of prophetic reference to what people would do with NERF Guns these days. Or it was a prophetic reference to the BIONICLE set that shot the little plastic marbles and those things fucking *hurt* if you got nailed by them.

@@BlizzardxThexWolf The first time was cause you needed to meet Vivian, but yes I so agree for after you see his bird. He could be back at the Steeple as soon as you know his name. I think the curse affected every other partner since they still follow Doopliss back to the Steeple after you say his name anyway. I wonder which other time saves there could be? I kinda liked Flavio's reluctant and petty nature. Ch3 could've been a few less fights and had a modified postgame, but overall I still really like it.

I won't spoil anything for the people who don't know this but, I know perfectly well why this guy was able to take down Culex with Toadstool like that. It has to do with a certain armor upgrade you get after beating Valentina. Also I loved this guys sass in regards to some things in this video, I laughed a few times at them. P.s: if you want a challenge to try, try doing either 50 or 100 super jumps with Mario in battle, than return to Monstro town and talk to the dog like enemy to get a special surprise.😎

Yeessss. One of my favorite snes games. Love it despite the flaws. The Axe the Rangers ride was mentioned in a note or something after the yaridovich fight. So...mentioned at least. And quickly forgotten. Valentina is seen again but it requires backtracking to...I think Booster's Tower. You're cool with Croco because you beat him up repeatedly. :P Good list, man.

Why didn’t they show up to take the un-guarded star in the star valley, or have one of the rangers show up in the first boss fight, or have another try and take the star piece from the Bow abomination in the forest, or have pink put Mario and the others to sleep to cover Valentina’s and Dodo’s getaway? They could’ve explained a lot by saying the Axem rangers helped to two bosses that came from smithy. They could’ve been a great constant force of smithy’s even when the bosses aren’t directly related to smithy at all!
