It serves as a ranking or acknowledgment of the most popular male artists as decided by fans. Daesang is not determined by vote alone. Global performance, influence and impact is also a factor. While first and second round was ongoing, armies and pjms were busy voting for jimin and other members in other award shows as well as dividing votes for this award among other members. Other fanbases also doubled efforts last minute. You are talking about Jimin not deserving the win meanwhile enhyphen wasn't even top 5 in final ranking and are nowhere near Jimin in local and global artist performance, influence or impact. fans should educate themselves about these awards before making unnecessary argument online.

And most voting accs calculate that if we voted Jimin it's more likely to beat the oppositions so most people voted jimin on the last day. Of course some people voted for their bias too but as army our goal was to bring the award at any cost so voting jimin was the mathematically correct decision. Also my bias wasn't even jimin but i still voted for him today. Before i voted for RM

@standingnexttoyou243 are you being dense on purpose? You can't vote multiple times. You can only give one vote. So you HAVE to choose one member even if you want to vote for all members. For daesang prize it wasn't only voting that mattered, it was combined of sns presence, latest music release, release impact etc etc metrics. When you combine all that jimin was most likely to win the daesang this year compared to other members. Because of his activity. Let's say all the voting accs told you to vote another member this year even if he doesn't have all the metrics and then you win in voting that member, you're still not gonna get to give him the daesang in the end and some other group will end up taking it away cuz metrics other than voting also nattered. I understand you're upset cuz your bias is jk so you probably wanted jk to have it instead but if it was last year, jk would be the one voting accs would instruct to vote during live voting but last year we didn't need to pick and choose, for this year we needed to and jimin was more likely to win daesang if we voted him in live voting. If we didn't vote him this year then NO other member would get the daesang either, that other group would take it away because they have the other metrics better. You should be happy that jimin got his first ever daesang and through him we got to keep the fans choice daesang in Bangtan's streak of winning it every year. But no, from your behaviour, i guess you'd be happy if that other group took it away this year instead and bangtan lost the daesang streak 💀 here army is happy about Keeping that daesang in Bangtan's control(no matter through which member) and not having it taken away but you're here sounding like a jimin anti, with your passive aggressiveness. As much as you hate for jimin to have it, mathematically his chances was better. Even if we voted v in live voting he won't get the award
