I don't own one of these but I love the concept. I've been on the fence in the past with respect to guns like the Ruger LCR in 9mm. but the moon clip, albeit not a complete turnoff, has made me refrain from a purchase. I own and enjoy Smith, Ruger, and Charter snubs, and even an old manufacture ...Taurus 85 (please don't tell anyone) and enjoy them all. These are all in .38 Special. With the cost of .38 however? It makes this particular revolver an even stronger candidate for a pickup. So, question? Are you going to continue making videos on this/with this gun and keep us updated on its condition and frequency of problems as more rounds go down the pipe, should there be any problems? That would be of great interest to me because as already stated, that 9mm. isn't a low pressure round and while I like Charter Arms, they certainly aren't exempt from problematic and failure prone releases. (Who is, right?) I'd definitely be curious to see how the timing holds up over use, how soon cylinder wobble occurs beyond what it came with, if cylinder end shake begins and when, stickiness, consistent ejection or lack of, trigger return issues, etc, etc, etc. Thank you for the video and please continue to enjoy the gun.

I have this 9mm revolver with the external hammer. I find the recoil is very manageable. I enjoy shooting this revolver. - Dave

I'm really loving these Charter Arms revolvers. I'm searching for a Vintage model that has a blued finish. :)

1 second ago My only complaint is that the trigger is narrow with sharp edges and after only shooting a dozen rounds the edge of my trigger finger felt almost cut. But I fixed it by putting semi-hard black rubber tubing over it with crazy glue. Now a joy to shoot.

Currently looking for a snubbie for the Mrs. Came across this by Charter Arms. Really liked what I read but...can't believe that 15 years after its debut, there are still no speedloiaders for this pistol. You'd think that the company that got rid of the Moon clip would have worked with another company or designed their own speedloader for what is a really nice gun. Had to take it off my buy list. That's a shame.

Get a couple of 15 shot 9 mm magazines , a 15 shot magazine gives you 3 reloads Fire your 5 shots, your magazine you can thumb them from the magazine to the cylinder and use it that way, not as fast like a speed loader, but faster than loading 1 round by hand,

Why only five chambers in the cylinder? The .380 version holds six rounds, and the cartridges are the same diameter.

Perhaps more pressure in the 9mm equals wider chamber mass...

@Soli_Deo_Gloria_. New shooters don't understand structural integrity. Small boom little metal. Bigger boom more metal. Biggest boom all the metal. Thanks for being polite to them though. I feel sometimes people get scared off of the hobby/lifestyle because alot of us have been asked the same questions a million times. So our answers are usually shortened and sarcastic or even rude. 👍

@@notoriousfam2922 -- I am not a 'new shooter'. I also know that there are .38 special and .357 mag (both of which are as powerful as or more powerful than 9mm) revolvers that have six-chamber cylinders, so Charter Arms could do the same.
