Charting a Path to Hunger Eradication in Malawi: Prof Alexander Kalimbira (LUANAR)

Professor Alexander Kalimbira from LUANAR (Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources) charts his vision of a path to hunger eradication in Malawi. He emphasizes upon the need to shift focus from the volume of calorific intake, to nutritional value. In particular, he calls for diversifying the currently maize-heavy diets, to also include alternative cereals as well as more fruits and vegetables.
