Thank you for sharing this. I was going crazy as well with both the issues, first my tiles not appearing in the selection drop down and then later on with the filter URL not working. You saved a lot of my time. One question how to escape special characters in table/column names e.g. for space we use _x0020_ what should we use for / or @ etc.

Excuse me, I would like to ask you how you can make multiple filters work at the same time?I try one filter and it works, but when I try more than one it becomes a full selection and doesn't work.

你好 Zack! So yeah it was a problem for me too, but near @12:20 you can see we were multi filtering and one easy way to do it was concat on the Power BI side. Also at @8:44 we talk about using DAX. The easiest way for me was the concat way, I agree it was a little "buggy", but here is more documentation: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-url-filters

For Tile filter it's working... coming to the embed report the filter is not working I set the allow api also true but filtering is not working could please assist me how to resolve this

This is great! I’ve tried it and it would let me filter when I was working with the tiles…but when just inserting my whole dashboard, everything in the dashboard worked. Is there a way to pass a value from the dashboard to another control in the app? Like a text field, etc

Hey again Jray! So hmm.. I think you want to try in Power BI and Embedding Power Apps Integration part. This may give you more control there? Did you watch this one? kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJ3NnYJtnJZ2haM It may be possible to do what you are trying though too, but when you embed and integrate that gives you more "Power".

@@andrewhess123 One odd question in my mind is…Are you able to put the PowerBi report that has an app embedded in it, in another app For instance, we have projects system that is built in powerapps. I want to use the advanced search and reporting capabilities of powerbi. So, I embed a small powerapp in that super zoomy powerbi report that I just made for searches and reports. Could I embed that powerbi report in the actual projects system app❓ What would be the purpose of this? Good question…One of the things we don’t want to do is have the users go to multiple apps. I don’t know I’d do it and it may take too much overhead for it to be efficient, but it’d be interesting to try it out By the way, thanks for sending me to that other video. I know, that might be a weird question. 🤓

Hi Andrew...i have embedded a power bi report in powerapps, now added this app as tab in teams, now if i am trying to access the app, am unable to login to the bi report in powerapps, however in powerapps environment am able to login and get data, but am trying from teams am unable to login to bi report,it asking to sign in , when i click on sign in it loads a white page , unable to login, note i have proper permissions for both app and report, any suggestion. many thanks in adavnce.

Hi MANJUNATHA K, my guess is the issue is on the Power BI report/dashboard side of things. If you can get into the app, if you can get into the MS Team, it has to be on the Power BI side? I would also try in MS Teams in browser and in the actual client. Maybe there is an issue in the passing in the client version of Teams? Does the browser version of MS Teams work?
