Thank you Bobby I've already seen the guitar online and you answered all my questions....pickups, neck construction, quality e.t.c. You don't hear the full range of sounds over YT, but for me the pickups of the Korean ax sound a bit fuller. Played great as always You Rock 👍

Thank you Eddie, I am so glad that you understand that, if you see my channel, I do alot of solos and I got to tell you, that is a really hard solo to play, its weird it doe snot seem hard, but the double guitars, the timing is weird and its fast and you need to be so precise on it. I did a the solo before their is a video shorty on it, but I was not happy, so I decided to do it again and I think this one came out better. Hi Bobby! Enjoyed the video and your playing is killer as always! That's interesting it is MIK. I wonder if Fender has intentions in shifting production from the Mexico facility or if this was just a one off. My Charvel DK24 purple phaze has a Duncan Full Shred. It's a good pickup in my opinion - good balance, harmonics and clarity are good. Not sure how it would sound in another type guitar, however, I think it's a good fit for the Charvel. 🤘

Hi Jeff, glad you liked the video, not sure why this model was MIK, the quality was great, I do think that that the quality on the MIM are awesome, maybe Mexico was backed up and need to get a run done, so it was farmed our to Korea, I think the full shred would be great on any guitar, I have an ibanez that has a full shred and I think it sounds great.

Ive got 2 DK24 HH FR with the Custom Shreds, they are very different threw my setup, Id describe them as thinner, the higher strings are very bright and clearer then with a JB , but took me a bit to get used to them. Now theyre amongst my favorites but If i had to choose, my favorite pickups are EMG's. Thats based on 2 ESP's I have which both have EMG's so I may be because of the real Floyds are ESP construction. Ive got a 2010 USA Charvel that had the jb and 59's but i replaced them with Suhr Doug Aldridge PU's which are very hot. I only use an Atomic AmpliFire pedal with monitor speakers running out of it so the tones are harder to articulate them if i was using s tube amp. Bottom line is that when i first plugged in the 2018 Charvel I was a bit underwhelmed with the Custom shred pu's and took my a while to figure them out with adjusting my settings. If i had to say what the difference is Id say very little bottom end. Again that also makes it cut threw a mix better and ots probably just with my rigg, your setup sounded great.

Thank you for checking out the video, I hope you liked it. I would say the majority of the guitars that I have humbuckers, they have a JB and 59. I am happy with them, but I do have a 87 Ibanez rg 560 and that has EMGs or they came with those pick ups and they are great(don't like having to switch out the battery- lol. I do have an EVH white and black series and a frankie and I love that wolfgang pick up - its awesome, such a great sounding pick up(you should get one). Love everything about that guitar 🥰 except the price is a little out of my league. I wish Harley Benton made their Fusion-III HH FR with only 22 frets.

no it was not heavy, I would say it is the weight of your average Charvel, i think about 7.5 -8 lbs

Can you fell quality differences beetween mim vs mik? maybe wood selection or attention to the detail

the quality is great, I would not have know it was a MIK if it did not say it on the neck plate, I thought it was MIM

Ha, interesting, the same model in the color chameleon is on "Session" for € 1059 but made in mexico not in korea 🤷‍♂️

maybe the original run was MIM and maybe the next run MIK, but the MIK quality was great

Take Korean made over sloppy Mexican made any day not even close in quality. Mik close to Japan quality

I think the mexican quality is great!! or least 90a5 of the charvels that I have had are MIM and they have been great, even the EVH frankie is MIM and its good, but this MIK was also good. Thanks for checking out the video- Bobby

they are usually MIM, but maybe Charvel did a certain run in Korea, because the neck plate said MIK, maybe that is were they are making some of them for a short time, but either way the quality on this guitar is great and the paint job is awesome, Thank for checking out the video
