Many people romanticize daddy issues but can't understand how deep trauma- trust issues those things get in you, how u leave people so easy, how u need to do things to get your mind away from your dad and problems,how u run away from love because u have trust issues, how u don't believe in love because u see your parents broken (my opinion always)
@adelinamariasecuiu50772 жыл бұрын
As a person with (mostly daddy issues but some mummy issues) parental issues I agree completely as this can be a way in which u can be affected. However, some (like me) can get attached to people too quickly cuz they fear that if they don’t then the person will walk out of ur life (and even if you get attached some still leave and it hurts), bcs I grew up without a dad I had to grow up faster than people my age so now I go back and forth between being rlly immature and annoying to taking everything seriously and to heart. I know it wasn’t the message of your comment I just wanted to let people know it’s not the only way people can react and that I agree with u 100% that daddy issues are romanticised a lot (and maybe even mummy issues). I feel like my comment is rly useless but oh well 🤷

That's so true, thank you for clarifying this problem. As a person with daddy issues, sometimes, I feel like I can't talk about them because people will think I'm joking around and looking for attention. Sometimes I even try to deny the fact that my dad is a really shitty person towards me just because I feel like I'm faking it and I'm unsure if I am in a right place to talk about just because "some people have it worse."
