You set your SSBS Mini almost exactly like I set mine except I keep the gain at 1pm instead of 3 pm. Nice. One of my favorite pedals. I have literally dozens of drives that cost 3x as much and still can't take the Mini off my board.

The drums will sound really weird, who puts reverb on bass, the guitar will sound awesome, vocals will be spooky and the front of house will find something to complain about.

Think this has to do with the frequencies of reverbs. Lower frequencies will be reflected shorter, and disappear, while higher frequencies break and multiply. Listen to a choir recordiing and you will find out. You can give it deeper frequencies with the pitch shifter 1 octave down, but it sounds more like a choir. The Reverb Part of this Pedal is very natural with the full bandwidth reflections. Compared with OBNEs Dark Star the Dark Star Sounds like a tin can (what they wanted to). I tried a lot of reverbs and this one, for me, is a very good one.
