Definitely love the simplicity of this card, and I had a similar situation happen to me when I applied for an Ink card for the first time! Like you mentioned, calling the recon line is key, and then you don't have to waste all that time waiting for a response or for your card to arrive (gotta get started on that MSR ASAP)!

Appreciate it Stan!!! Yeah, I essentially decided to get this card once I decided that I was going to make a large purchase that would enable me to hit the MSR, so I wanted the card in hand ASAP! I wasn’t trying to wait around for 2 weeks! I’m curious if any subsequent Chase business cards I apply for will be automatic approvals or not.

Idk bro… you claimed “no business needed” but you have a legit LLC and they had to manually review it and send them actual paperwork. I’m very skeptical this works for sole proprietor who’s making pocket cash as a side hustle.

Yes, if you apply with an LLC, you need to have an actual LLC with paperwork. Applying as a sole proprietor (no formal business) with your SSN is another option.

can you do a video comparing the chase and venture X portal prizes for tickets? I find the Venture X hotels are more expensive than same Chase portal one's. In a number of cases, the same hotel comes with breakfast with chase, but not with Venture X. So I decided to start using my chase cards again, after my minimum spend on Venture X.

I’d want to fall within the good to excellent FICO range before applying for this card. I wouldn’t freeze for this card since they do use your personal report for approval. Hope this helps!

I honestly wasn't really on hold very much at all. Not even enough for her to wind up the music track. I just looked at my call log and the entire phone call was 9 minutes. Very efficient!

They're both good. I plan to get the Ink Cash next year when I'm below 5/24. If you have spend in the Ink Cash's 5%/2% categories, it would likely be better to get that one first.

I just applied as a sole proprietor, but when i got to the business info there was only a line for EIN, i saw no drop down menu to change the EIN option to the social option. Now my application is pending review. I put my social as the EIN in the Column. Should i be worried???

Hey, I'm looking at the application page for this card at the moment. Under "Business structure > Legal business structure", make sure sole proprietorship is selected. This will enable you to see SSN as one of the options under "Business Tax ID > Tax ID type". Since you've already submitted the app, give Chase recon a call at 800-453-9719 and tell them you made a mistake on your app. They should have no issue helping you out. Press 0 to talk to a human

Only if they need to rerun your credit. They will tell you if you ask them. I typically like to call recon the same day I get the pending review message.

Ok i took your advice & called the reconsideration line, explained the error i made. They asked a few simple questions, then congratulated me on my approval! I only got 6k but it’s much better than being denied. I just want to say i truly appreciate your content and taking the time to guide me with great information. This is my 1st business card!!!
