If all 5 enemy players are turning on you, it often means you're pushing too early (before your team has a chance to create pressure) or you have an awkward position You may notice that Fitzy usually waits for his team to be close or engage before engaging himself If you're still having trouble flanking, you can try playing behind your team This is especially important versus certain match ups

It's so hard to get value with Sombra at lower ranks because you get the entire enemy team focused on you, yet your team refuses to push in and keeps dying during poke. Your distraction is only as useful as your team.

sombra capitalize hard on your team distracting the enemy, so I suggest switching to other hero if they are not putting enough pressure on the enemy.

with teams like that those games are doomed anyway with or without sombra but reality is that you will eventually get good teams even in low ranks its just the bad mm at the end of the day

@@willmcclard206 this is definitely a problem with sombra at lower SRs. Playing sombra efficiently means having a lot of game knowledge and knowing how to use every second of your time efficiently. Knowing when to wait and when to act. When to use EMP, baiting out Suzu so you can get the hack off, killing supports when they’re isolated because of frontline pressure, where to put translocators and when to engage frontline, etc.

i still don't understand why so many kirikos immediately use suzu for hack, it's quite a long cooldown and honestly u can pocket someone past the first 1.5 which are the scariest ones and then hack becomes quite useless, especially bc you can't hack the same person again, like if u immediately suzu every hack ur just helping the sombra

You're not wrong. You can easily get and keep the attention of 2 enemy players at the least. Tanks and supports are easy to pull away everytime. This is easy but it's getting my team to capitalize on lost attention or space made that is hard.

Drawing attention does add a lot of value but it also makes it a lot less fun to play. The number of times a whole team will forget objectives exist to chase a sombra is shocking. I had a whole team turn around to go after me when they could’ve easily ignored me and contested the cart to stop us from getting a checkpoint. Only a brig was on the cart, everyone else was dead or coming back so they likely could’ve won the fight too. They didn’t care, they just wanted sombra. This was in diamond too where I would think people would know better.

Timing and coordination, you could easily tell when does someone have their ult by the time the round has passed

Or even how they play. If you see a reaper coming ghost mode toward tour team, he’s is likely on a mission to ult you. Or if a rein presses W like it’s no tomorrow, specially if he does a few fire strikes first to build his last percentage before going for the shatter. And as the comment above says, keeping track of their dmg, coordination and timing.
