We went BACK to the Game Barn and targeted sealed retro video games, high-end video games, and game systems. I had no idea how much we were going to find.

…..I mean it’s really hard to put into words this whole situation you guys have so graciously found yourselves into…honestly with as much money as you are spending on games/consoles…and the fact that it seems like this is what your wanting to do for an extended period of time…bite the bullet and just see what you can workout for all of it…this is your passion and drive…how many times will you come across inventory like this for what you love to do…unbelievable stuff fellas great videos as always!

@@fatcakes4084 that wouldn't be scalping bro. Scalping is buying the entire inventory of a certain item so noone else can get that item then jacking the price up above retail so buyers are forced to pay that amount. How the hell do you think buying the whole barn would be scalping. Please explain

All I can say is wow it was a real good Idea that you chose to go after sealed games in general rather then only one particular system.I loved watching this all the way from the beginning to the end.I am sorry I didn’t comment sooner but I had forgotten to.Also I seen a lot of Wii games and hopefully there is some Mad Dog Mc Cree in there .Yes I would chose all the cib game cube games and all the cib n64 games also the cib snes and nes cib. However all the better ones first and than later them rest of them.A lot of people just love even the common cib in these systems.

Hey so you asked what you should buy next ? Just hear me out on this one lol. You should start buy buying 1 copy of every n64 game he has in the store see how close you get to a complete North American set. Then continue to complete the set however possible with the intention to sell the entire northamerican n64 set as a whole to document what it cost to build the set and if there is profet to be made in selling it as a whole

My thoughts, buying in chunks/system types will allow for a good cash flow and easier sales(?) and also easier storage/logistics. If you have the cash/credit and storage space then go for everything and perhaps hire temporary help to list and sell quicker or keep to long term sales/profit. What I'm reallly saying can you afford to tie up capital and space for a larger long term return or do you want to keep the investment smaller with possibly a smaller long term return(depending on changes to market value). Anyway good luck.

IF I had the money and IF I could get an even better deal than the 50%-60% you're already getting, then yes I would definitely get it all at once. Like if there's $1m in ebay value and I'm getting it for 250k or 300k, it's just a no brainer at that point. My only concern would be potential cashflow issues, since you'd basically wipe out the vast majority of your bank account I'd imagine, you probably wouldn't be able to do any huge buys for the next month or two at least.

If the seller were to give a good enough deal to justify buying the entire barn then I would definitely consider doing that. However, it is probably next to impossible to tell what the total value of that barn is worth especially since a lot of those games are re-seals, not to mention the fact that calculating that value would likely take many months. It may indeed be more value to cherry pick the games/consoles that are original seal, rare, popular, etc. In any case, I wish you guys good luck. I will most likely be buying a lot of your games once you post them on Ebay.

Honestly from a business perspective, you would be better off buying everything and renting out a space and keeping it super organized & on-boarding more help to post more Item's, although you are one of the few resellers that never talks about a "dead pile". Another thing to note your operation is in your home right now with that it mind your children are still young where you don't have to worry about them yet (as a father aswell) but when the get older in my experience they get into everything we even have a separate game room for my kids and still some how I find my stuff (pokémon, video games, ect.) in other parts of the house lol. For growth with any business you need to expand, there many options for this if a rental space is not feasible but you have the property and yard space you can build a "large garage" on your property running electric from the house. Just an idea.

For that big of a deal I think the first purchase makes sense to get the ball rolling on conversation about the whole. I could not fathom the price on the whole thing as I feel you have bought less that .1 % of the value that was there I would not be shocked if that barn would cost a few million. So I assume this is a deal that would take months of negotiations and gathering funds for such a purchase. Also think that value doesnt fundementally change the business but being high on supply and not liquidty would at least change the workflow to a huge degree so planning for that would be good. Lastly having a purchase done sets up a relationaship both ways and gives you faith in the stuff that have as well as them in you being a real buyer.

If you have the capital to buy it at once and this one time buy will increase your profit at the end of it all by 1/3 meaning instead of doubling you would be tripling profits I would go for it. You could then focus on sales and fulfilment full time for a few months and not have to worry about sourcing. If however you need a loan to afford this maybe don't. Also it seems like you already have a ton of stuff you need to sell so maybe manage cashflow. Keep in mind the fun factor. Sourcing is fun, your trips up top the place are fun, interacting with people is fun. If you buy it all in one go that fun is suspended and it will then be just you and Skylar grinding out the listings, and that won't make for interesting content. Here is my suggestion. If you can afford to hire people to just do listings for you full time and manage fulfilment while you only have to supervise and you and Skylar can continue to go on hunting trips and creating content then I say go for it. If you will have to do the listings yourself and have say 200K tied up in inventory for a year or two and just be grinding on listings then I say take less profit. Second option. See if the seller will sell you the lot on credit. Say he wants 200K, draw up a contract where you will pay him 10K a month for 20 months and he sells you the lot but it all stays on his land. You then do a fill inventory of the buy. You lock the barn up with two locks, you each keep one so no one can enter without the other. Then once a month you meet up, you grab things you want to sell that month and you give him 10K, he has to agree that you aren't prematurely emptying the barn (say taking 40K of stuff instead of 10) and you have to agree that you are getting stuff you can sell. Rinse and repeat for 20 months. Heck you can set up a deal where if you sell faster he knocks off 10%. So if you can go twice a month and give him the 10K every two weeks then the overall price drops by 10% and the last three visits are combined for only 10K saving you 20K and him 10 months.
