People really like to see the water flow. Post10 has that feeling in spades. Throw in a love for the outdoors ,an energizer bunny work ethic, an admiration for the beavers skills, and you have a guy that is passionate about his work. 15:15 For filming "in water" you need a polarizing filter. This will eliminate reflections. I just don't know if that is available for your camera. But if it is, reflection of light can be (almost) eliminated when filming smooth surfaces like water, metal, glass. That will give you awesome under water footage from above the water. By the way: Did you let the ranger know about the beaver's lodge's location? -- added time stamp

I wasn’t scared of beavers either until I saw one on the road and chased him down. I’m way faster than a beaver on land. When the beaver realized this he turned and smacked his tail on the ground, spazzed at me and hissed at me. We stood in a stand off for a bit, and when I moved toward him once more to coax him off the road, he chased me, and I realized he would not hesitate to cut through my bones with his tree-felling teeth in order to defend himself. I got the heck out of there! No shame in being scared of a beaver, especially since this one was in water and therefore faster than you!

I always think it's interesting to hear people release a primal scream. Some call it a death scream. More often than not, it's like a squeal. Prey. All of the sudden that human drops down the hierarchy.

5:00 That log could be part of a washed out bridge. In my area, the Forest Service will commonly anchor one end of a foot bridge. Then when a flood washes it out, the logs stay put and can be put back in place and the bridge rebuilt.

It’s hard to make me laugh. When you said you weren’t scared of the beavers , then that one came toward you and you let out that yell I laughed so hard. I even rewound it and watched it again. You’re so funny!! Without even trying which is even better. Then turned back being chill😂

Kudos to you for not editing out your surprise reaction to the beaver attack. I'm no sook either but I would definitely have done the same! If you go beaver searching again, carry a decent spade to belt the crap out of the water to make the beaver think an alligator is after it!

We had a beaver dam at our property in Northern Quebec. We trapped 13 of the little buggers. Two of them were over 50 lbs each. You gotta hand it to the beavers, they’re resourceful and relentless. They’re not really afraid of people either. Great videos.

I started laughing when the beaver started chasing after Post 10. Post 10 screaming was also funny even though he said that he wasn't afraid. It looked like it took a lot of nerves to be right next to an active beaver lodge, especially knowing that there are beavers nearby that could attack you at any given moment.

I hugely admire beaver. When we lived up in Central Oregon, on the banks of the Deschutes River, I used to get up particularly early to watch the beaver swim, carrying twigs and what have you, to repair their lodge on a tiny island. They are industrious, smart, and if they'd been left alone rather than hunted to near extinction back in the 1800s, we wouldn't have had the flooding problems that we encounter now. Nature's way is the best way, and beaver were put here by Nature for a beautiful and perfect reason.

I love these videos - mostly because i miss being in that environment. i also hold strong interest in your type of work which is waterway management as part of what i think falls under forest management. I spent many wonderful days helping out with forest management in a patch of about 10 hectares in Southern Ontario along the Niagara escarpment ( had *lots* of little waterways and ponds). I miss it very much.
