Chili man and Chili man jr. great review johnny,but you scare me brother,you eat the hottest peppers and extracts yet you never sweat and that gives me false hope that if Johnny can eat those and NOT sweat then I got this!!! Only for me to suffer for 15 minutes and curse the capsaicin gods 😂😂

Just found myself a bottle of this last night, and it is ABSOLUTELY brilliant. Proper heat, and an addictive flavor. I love how the pineapple accentuates the Scorpion pepper flavor. Very quickly becoming my favorite sauce.

Tabasco sauce may be known as a gateway hot sauce, but it’s 1 that brings with it a lot of nostalgia and memories from my childhood. My dad introduced me to Tabasco sauce when I was 3 on my 3rd birthday. He dumped a bit of it into a carnitas burrito he’d gotten from a Mexican restaurant and gave it to me out of his own amusement ready for some laughs. Apparently I took it much better than he anticipated and from that day on I started developing a small addiction for spicy sauces. Tabasco started it, reapers are where I’m at currently. I still go back to Tabasco for that nostalgia it brings me. I’ve tried this Tabasco scorpion sauce, I love it but I don’t think it’s near true scorpion heat.

I found this sauce at fred myers here in alaska, I was excited. my 1st try was on roasted red potatoes and I drenched them. the flavor was amazing and the heat was about a 3 but it did give me sweats what was the 1st in a long time. I highly recommend buying it.

My tolerance is low at the moment as i haven’t been eating hot stuff in while. Just put this on some ramen type noodle stuff and it was surprising. To me it’s comparable to eating a store bought habanero( heat wise). Great flavor but its hotttt if you don’t eat hot stuff often.
@willmorrison10225 жыл бұрын
I just found a bottle of this at my local grocery store. It's hot, no question about it. And it's definitely a scorpion pepper sauce, I have several and now, even though I haven't eaten a scorpion plain, I have a good idea of what they would taste like. Tasty!

Johnny Jr. can definitely handle things hotter than I can. I like spicy but don't think I could handle eating an entire ghost pepper. Despite this I'm growing about 15 types of hot pepper plants this year. From Jalapeno to Chocolate Moruga Brain. My goal is to make several different hot sauces. I've made one so far that most people love with Ghost Peppers, Cayenne, Jalapeno, Pears and Whisky among other things. Not very hot really but VERY tasty. It would probably seem like ketchup to you Johnny Scoville. I want to up the heat while still keeping the flavor for future recipes. Nothing worse than a hot sauce that tastes like gasoline just for the sake of the burn. Thanks for the video guys. I have subscribed and look forward to watching future videos!! ;oP

That is a great story, and sadly, I think I would have looked up too. We're dumb lol. As for the review, I love that you have Jr on here giving the perspective of someone who is still working on increasing their heat tolerance. I'm 36 years old but I've only been really seeking to up my tolerance for about the last 12 months. And I'm not a pod guy, just sauces. I have a feeling this would be a 7 for me just like Jr. Maybe an 8 if I'm being honest with myself. Keep up the great work, Johnny. I have enjoyed being a part of this community this short while.

@pkt9767 жыл бұрын
I'd like to try this one. Nice, doing reviews with your son. I have a question maybe you could answer. Can't find any answers on the interwebs. In your opinion, do you find extract sauces the same, hotter, or cooler than their natural sauces SHU equivalents? In other words, do you notice any difference in heat from 500k rated extract sauce and a 500k rated natural sauce? I know there's a lot of factors involved beyond their ratings, like peppers used and how they affect people differently. Just curious if you have any opinion. Thanks
@ChaseTheHeat7 жыл бұрын
Interesting question. Perhaps that would make a good series. More to come.
@pkt9767 жыл бұрын
Chase The Heat well you're the right guy. Would need someone who at that level of heat could discern the difference of burn and not just say they're both really hot and in pain.

DUCK!!! I love it! I've never cared for Tabasco or any hot sauce because I don't like the vinager taste/smell. I think to chase the heat I prefer salsas, mustards, jams and powders/extracts. There are a lot of fruity sauces, which I avoid because I prefer the stuff you don't like, but looking at the ingredients can give you a good idea. Caribbean hot sauce, at least the traditional stuff I have had has mustard and habeneros in it, you may like that. Grace makes a decent one that is easy to find.

ROFL...Johnny Jr looks like a good kid :-) Closer to my tolerance for heat! At my local grocery the hottest Tobasco they have is original. Didn't like it at all (not trying to be a snob, I'm still at the gateway level...just too watery and had a weird taste.) Wouldn't mind trying one based on habanero, which is at the level I am now...
