Chasing Brook Trout at a Mountain Lake Before Blizzard!! (Mirror Lake)

I decided to drive up to Mirror Lake outside Tincup, Colorado to try my hand at some wild trout! They do stock the lake with rainbows but the also have wild Brook trout in the lake. Which is what I was after! They are absolutely beautiful fish and I can't wait to catch more! I didn't get to stay long before the snow came and me almost falling in the lake, but overall it was a success!

Nice brookie. I grew up in Colo. (Fishing lesson...treat trout with care..wet your hands before handling, introduce them back into the water instead of tossing em back and only a couple minutes out of the water ((or they'll swim off and die.) Great video!! Thanks. Best wishes for your channel.
