I'm just guessing, but I think the reason that it looked better in movie maker than after it was rendered is because u rendered in 480p(high quality), instead of 720p or 1080p(high definition).is there any way u could RE-render the video in HD to test that out?

@Animemix93 In my experience it only letterboxes the video when the clips aren't large enough to fit the whole screen and since they fit on 480p it should still be widescreen not letterboxed.which setting do you use when you render to make it HD,and which version of movie maker do you use?

@mvitkun thank you and do you know how to make the video HD while still making it wide screen because when i do it on mine it just turns into a little box for some reason

@mvitkun i have windows movie maker 2.6. the video format is NTSC and the ratio is 16:9. When i create an HD vid i use WMV-HD-960x720 That help at all?
