I think you must be attached at the hip to a piano. . . your voice, accompanied hy piano, sounds like ONE instrument. My mother, Virginia, had some musical gifts and she had the ability to "meld" with a piano. She would sit down at the keyboard, not one sheet of music in sight, and she could play for hours from memory. She would have tears streaming down her face as she played. It was like no one else was in the room, yet she was conversing with someone. I didn't intrude at those times, I just listened with tears streaming down my cheeks. To this day, I believe Mom was conversing with a Heavenly chorus. It was a moving experience. Thank you for performances that remind me of her. Frankly, I can think of no higher compliment to you, B-Rush. Your voice moves me, my dear. May God continue to bless you in your musical efforts.

I wish I had something profound and awesome to say. But all I can say is I can't stop listening to it. I used to LOVE the original.... Like, to the point of, its been almost 15yrs and I still get comments and references to the song from old MS/HS friends. But there's just something about this version. Your tone just fits insanely perfect with this song. And the harmonies? Don't even get me started. I cry every time. 🥺 It just hits, but in such a good way. Bailey Rushlow I'm a huge music person. I play guitar (not very well, but I can't read sheet music, so to teach yourself guitar based off youtube videos and photos of how to play chords? I'd say I'm alright haha). But, music has quite literally saved my life when I've been at my most broken. I love talking and connecting with people, and I'm very much the person that tells it like it is. When I watch/hear/read something that moves me, I'm going to let the creator know. Because in a world full of internet hate: you can make someone's day just by remembering we are all human, doing what you love and putting yourself out there for the scrutiny. But not letting it deter you from putting it out because it's something you're proud of and something you love to do. And that's incredible. To not let fear take the wheel. I could talk for hours about how I love to watch people's passions on display. Because it moves & inspires me to keep encouraging them, because that's something I struggle with. I've wanted to write a book since HS. But fear got in my way & continues to get in my way. And it's crazy because nearly all the feedback I've gotten from people when I put my poetry out? Is almost always positive. So you think I'd have no second guesses about trying to put out a book of the 150+ poems I have written..... But: it still exists. I'm still afraid. I'm working towards not being afraid, but, it's a process. So hearing this? Having it move me to tears every time? (literally, just cried listening to it while I'm typing a response 😂) I had to let you know. Because who knows what kind of fears you have about putting your passion on display for all to see/hear. I know I'd love to hear someone say that I touched them in some way from what I was doing. Because that's the point of art. To invoke emotion. No matter what the emotion. Just allowing the emotion to have a place to be. Because all too often, we are afraid of feeling. But it's the very thing we were created for. Not only that, but to feel with other people. To be in community together. Anyways, I just wrote a novel, I need to stop 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 Just: thank you. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. Thank you for the heavenly harmonies. Thank you for ignoring fear and pursuing your passion.
