OH BOY THIS ONE TOOK A WHILE AND GAVE ME A LOT OF TROUBLE UGH BUT IT'S ONE OF THE BEST BATTLE THEMES IN THE GAME I COULDN'T NOT DO IT
Chasing Daybreak poses a particular challenge because it has this relentless intensity that just NEVER lets up, which works out when you've got a lot of instruments and drums and stuff but when you're adapting it to one instrument you've got to find creative ways to differentiate each section so it doesn't all just sound loud and bangy, yet without losing that drive, and it was hard to find those moments. The most difficult part was that big buildup before the recap: because it's so extended, i opted to come down like, a LOT there so I'd have somewhere to go. I hope it worked. I hope this whole thing works lmao i'll feel really stupid if it doesn't but hey i spent like a month of my life on this and i need something to show for it regardless lol.
The end section veered off in an interesting direction, as I was sitting in LAX delayed for five hours and working on this arrangement and rewatching one of my favorite bands ever Dream Theater's Images and Words show in Tokyo from 1993, so i ended up writing a humble tribute of sorts to Kevin Moore's beautiful, tasteful keyboard work (ok I love and revere Jordan Rudess forever but I can't listen to early DT without Moore, he really defined their early sound), and a bit of Edge of Dawn might have worked its way in there hahaha, as if the OST didn't already have 2394872394 versions of it lol. Anyways, you guys might hate it but I hope not lol. I like it hahaha.

I hold a lot of appreciation to this theme, since i was playing first on dimitri's route and my first thought on the first map was like "wait for real it's gonna be a 2 man chapter????" Since there were a lot of concotions and such, then i was surprised to see everyone slowly regrouping, it melt my heart It's a very very awesome cover! It gave me the chills! I love it!

I played crimson flower first so when I played verdant wind next it felt like such a great moment. It wouldnt compare to azure moon tho. Watching dimitri who was once so cheerful turn so dark and full of murderous intent felt perfect with the song. And watching every one show up so happy that byleth is alive is great too

I really love this rendition, like the passion/aggression is kinda embedded and innate in the piece itself, and yet somehow maybe because of the piano (?), it still somewhat feels "relaxing", calm, and elegant - but the aggression is still there. Been waiting for this one! Absolutely love this battle theme; Rei Kondoh is one of my favourite composers, he's truly a master. I pretty much guessed that this was him when I played it and turned out to be right obviously. Anyway, great cover!! I love how powerful and emotional the melodies in this song are and you really captured it all :D

Because it has my favourite soundtrack in the series and would absolutely love someone of your skill to cover a bunch of tracks from it. I'm not familiar with Fire Emblem (although I do play Ike in Smash :D) but my God you're insanely good. What's funny is how I'll click with high expectations and get blown away regardless - the doors and windows are boarded up for the incoming storm, yet the house is still left in ruins. In a good way!
