Empanadas are the best! I used to fish canals and ponds around Miami in the early 1970s ,pretty much only bass and bluegill back then. Pre-exotic period I guess.

They are both Cichlids; though, in different genera! I used to catch Carás back when I was a kid. So beautiful.

Nice Leo! Microfishing is always awesome! About species I would also want to ask you a question: what's the situation about Ameiurus melas in the US? I'd love to see you catch one! In Italy, of all the Ameiurus genre we ONLY have Ameiurus melas, so it's quite strange to me seeing that you anglers in the US rarely catch one :)

Um... broward county is near Miami which is virus central in Florida right now I seriously do not want to be anywhere near south Florida right now especially since we are under a big state wide stay at home order until the 30th. There no parks no nothing to fish right now as literally everything is closed. Get the heck out there unless you’re in Philadelphia already.
