Stunning images and a great little video, really enjoyed that. Went Kingfisher hunting on the Norfolk Broads last year and saw lots of them. Photographing is another matter but i did manage a few shots. Nothing to compare to your superb photos though but was chuffed just the same.Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more. Gilly

Nice job mate. I didn't know you had a tube channel. I have kingfishers near me but we haven't managed to get too close yet so were going back with a pop up hide to see how we do. What an amazing location. The video and the images were superb pal 😊😊

fantastic images of both male and female, I had my first sightings and photographs of a male female and juvenile from last August to late October, but since October they have been less active in the lake area I was seeing them so think they are more hunting elsewhere, with occasional visit back where I photographed them most, love to know where they go mostly now lol.

I have seen one kingfisher at the pond of my local forest one day ago, where I shoot landscape, nature and some wildlife (I'm new to this, only got roe deers and some common birds), I'm searching informations on this bird that's why i'm here, I hope I will get one on picture one day, it's a really beautiful bird. Thanks for that video

Great kingfisher images - well done. Particularly since the depth-of-field was evidently pretty small. You must have been using some powerful glassware AND a very good camera support. Thanks for sharing.

@suecollins32466 жыл бұрын
@@AndrewHomer Yes, but what kind of Kingfisher? They look much like what Malachite Kingfishers look like here in South Africa. Except that with the Malachite Kingfisher that little russet patch on the cheek runs down into the russet on the chest. Lovely photos - small kingfishers are NOT easy to photograph.

Wow! Out of your comfort zone? One small tip. If you are outside in a lightning storm, a metal shipping container is about the safest place to be. If you doubt this, look up “Faraday cage”.
