April is the audience right now. April and Leo's relationship was one of the best parts of the show and killing him off so quickly after he and April got less than an episode of happiness was cruel and unusual punishment for us viewers. It's like the writers took a page from Shonda Rhimes but even she gives us more warning than this. And the really sad thing is that we all know where the story is headed. Dominic is gonna swoop in and help April in the wake of Leo's death, because killing Leo off was literally the only way to put him and April back together. Clearly a sign that this relationship DOES NOT WORK.

Chocobear555 well that sucks because he was the most humorous character on the show and his character made serious matters less depressing. you can't just let go a character like leo, especially if its played by a very talented actor like scott. Big mistake

+Danielle Downes, I don't dislike Dominic because of Leo. Even though I adore Leo and I will never believe that he "stole" April like Dominic claims, Dominic does have some understandable reasons to dislike Leo. What I hate is the way he treated April throughout the second half of season 1 and the way he treated Natalie. I think Dominic is immature and self-centered and doesn't take a lot of time to really consider other people's perspectives. Specifically April's. Even though I know this is just the grief talking and April will be back to giving us this bull about how important Dominic is to her, I'm kind of glad she's treating him this way. She sat back and let him treat her like dirt just because she felt guilty and that drove me nuts. He deserves a little bit of this.

Poor Dominic just really really loved April through everything. While she could have loved him but he left and she got sick and got Leo. But Dominic was a pretty loyal guy through the entire series.

I don't know about anyone else on KZbin. But I couldn't help but feel that Dominic was behaving like a vulture circling a dead body. He may have sincerely wanted to be there for April. But there's a little part of me that resents him for being at the funeral and for showing up in her bedroom afterward. There's a part of me that wonders if he was testing the waters, trying to see if he had a chance with her now that Leo is no longer in the picture. I think April might have picked up on that, and that is one of the reasons why she told him off.

I feel like the only one who likes Dominic. Omg. Like Leo was all over April when she was with Dominic. He was there for her through cancer and that's what connected them. Yeah I grew to like him but I don't know I just liked her with Dom. I'll really miss Leo a lot though.

I liked Dominic until Leo came into the picture. That's the only reason I kept watching the show because of him and April and Brennan and Finn.. But now that they killed Leo off the show I don't want to keep watching anymore. They kind of ruined the show here. Why would you kill off a main character so soon? So depressing as if the whole cancer thing wasn't depressing enough to make April unexpectedly a widow right after their wedding.

Miss Absolution For me, it was around the second half of season 1 that Dominic started to bug me. The way treated April was childish and the way he behaved in general just really bugged me. I don't hate him like some of the other fans of the show, but he's not someone I really root for anymore, especially with April.

I used to like Dominic and originally I felt bad for him, but he and April agreed not to be together while he was on tour. She wasn't expecting to get cancer or fall in love with someone else but it happened. I can understand being hurt because April was the first girl he ever saw a potential future with but Leo didn't steal April and April didn't cheat, yet he lashed out at them every chance he got. Then he pursued Natalie even though she was trying really hard to keep her promise to her new found sister and build trust between them. And then once he got Natalie he decided he didn't really want her. He still wanted April (knowing Natalie jeopardized her relationship with April to be with him and that she already felt second to April because of their dad) and now after all of that has comes around now when her husband has just died and she's clearly heartbroken and grieving to "apologize"....I don't hate him. But he's got some serious growing up to do before I will root for him.

Why is everyone hating on Dominic?? Leo wasn't respectful when she was with him. Yeah April and leo connected over cancer but she didn't even give domonic a chance and let him in. She just wrote a letter and left. The fact that he still had feelings for her after all that she's done to him shows he truly loved her. To sit there and treat him like trash is wrong and he doesn't deserve it. Leo deserved to be treated as trash. I mean I'm sorry he died but he was an ass.

I don't hate Dominic, but I don't think he's this amazing guy that fans claim he is. First off, while I don't begrudge him for having some feelings about the way April lied about having cancer, there's more than one side to the situation and Dominic NEVER really acknowledges that. Instead he plays the victim card because his gf of ONE MONTH didn't tell him straight away that she had cancer. Than there's her situation with Leo. Anyone with eyes can see that April and Dominic's conversation before he headed to Europe was a BREAKUP and not "a break." But he still runs around being petty and passive aggressive and acting like she's a cheater when she wasn't. Then he starts dating her sister, not really caring how that could complicate their relationship or April's chances of having a donor. Leo can be an ass, but so can Dominic.
