Hank I was born and raised on the shores of Moosehead lake! 4th generation. Hunting and fishing is in our blood. Last year caught my personal best 6.8 pound smallie. Moosehead is very rocky! so the small mouth love it.I'm glad you enjoyed yourself on the best lake in the Country.

Great show Hank. There's something special about those brown fish. The quality at lake James in North Carolina does not compare to Maine but I have landed a few 4 and 5 pounders.

Not one of those fish should have made it back to that lake. They're none native and a severe detriment to the natural trout species and the salmon. If you'd like to catch bass and release them. Theres plenty of places. A lake like that, it should be a criminal offense to throw them back.
