no it's someone who has a horn mounted on their truck. it's not the horn on the CF7 either. really annoying

Sure sounds like it! It looks like the BL2 has 2 single chime horns facing both directions, so the other horn might be from the CF7.

@@trainzguy2472 That's just a typical setup of the early 2 chime Leslie and Wabco horns... they could either be mounted as a pair, or on either side of the cab - typically one bell was reversed in either setup. As companies started adding more complex horn arrangements, gradually the need/desire to have horn setups split into two mountings decreased. (As is demonstrated by the 3-chime setup of the S-3L on the CF7) Also, the second horn sounds a lot like a 3-chime, likely an S-3L, which has a very distinct sound to the single/dual chime horns of the early 50s - such as the one this unit has. While it sounds like it could be the same horn as used on an ATSF CF7, the sound and direction of the horn lead me to believe the theory of somebody chasing the train with a horn mounted on their truck, is far more likely.
