The biggest problem of FSHS are the headmasters and matrons and kitchen staff

I teach one of the shs's in Ashanti, on admissions for 1st years, some students arrive without even common soap and spoon, teachers had to contribute to buy it for them. One female student couldn't afford pad ...😢😢😢. Anytime i begin to talk about it, tears begin to flow. How do you treat the best student in science class but can't afford a simple graph book ? hmmm We thank thse headmasters and bursars for successfully collapsing the FSHS policy.

The government should give the contract to private people to cook the food to the student so that it will create employment for our people.

The government only moved the corruption from the school to the Julorbi hse so sure they would complain How much is the daily feeding fee almost at par with prisoners

It's not CHASS and bursars alone oo. Most teachers saw this election as a war against NPP. What the guy is saying is a fact

During Rawlings' time, when he brought accountability in his early years, many S h s Bursars and Headmasters ran away were jailed, and some even committed suicide due to their corruption. A lot of Ghanaians do not think critically. there were lot of students strikes because money giving to the Bursar and Headmasters to feed students were stolen by some Headmasters and their busses and students were fed poorly

I was in SHS from 2005-2008 without it being free. We still ate and we were relatively satisfied. Food was reasonably balanced (there was protein regardless the quality of the carbs) and not what we see today. You’ve messed up the SHS system and won’t let us talk. Students spend 2 months in school and are promoted to the next level instead of the normal 3 term each consisting of 3 months. Whether you’re intellectually inclined or not you’re promoted regardless. Wholesale promotions without checks and balances. A review is needed so we can get rid of some of the ills and excesses of this so called “FREESHS”. All you know is SLOGANEERING 🙄😡.

Masa stop dat hypocrisy wen did shs food becomes better or are you the only one who has completed shs before free shs came to existence,we were paying fees but still eating foods that seems like dogs food
@kevinpeters876222 сағат бұрын
@ and it’s gotten worse. What the students are eating now is not even fit for dogs so yeah. Mind you, I never said we were eating like Kings and Queens back then. I used words like like ‘relatively satisfied ’ (hence our Gari sardines and shito to top up) and ‘reasonably balanced’ at least we had protein accompanying our woeful diet.

This means,you were blocked headed because learning is not about number of months or weeks you spent in school.It is only people like you who think that the more you stay in school the more you learn but not quality time.Two months quality time is better than 4 months stay in school

Just look at you! Even when we paid? We still ate something we didn't like and often Some students wouldn't come to Dinning unless its Kenkey hot pepper and Sardines when we all had Sardines in Chopboxes. Masa stop your hypocrisy. Now we will all witness what these same students will complain about again

@@teacherowusuansah1981 Considering I’m a Medical Doctor, I think I did pretty well with my 3 months a term (God knows that wasn’t enough) and definitely not block headed. Our university days made sure to expose our inefficiencies due topics we skipped but we tarried and today we can also diagnose and treat. Hope you know no student was repeated regardless of their performance academically. Simply put, they were schooling for the sake of slogans. Ask yourself how many of these kids made it to tertiary institutions. You either fail to see what’s right in-front of you or you’re desperately trying to ignore what’s there.
