you should port forward your external address then connect the client with the external address of yours

I cheked the fort forwarding tutorial and i port forwarded my IPV4 adrees and i was able to run the server on one machine and client on the other and the application was working fine. BUT there is a smalll problem i am able to run server only on a certain computer and client on others ,i.e. when i try to make some other computer as server then the server does run but clients are not able to connect . The clients are able to connect to server only when it runs on a partucular system. How can this problem be solved. I will appreciate your reply @Nichu Naizam

What if there are two devices within a local area network? The other one runs the SERVER and the other one runs the CLIENT. What IP address and server sockets we use? Should we still use the default IP address which is "127.0.0.1" or IP addresses of our PC and does the SERVER and CLIENT must have always a same number of Network Socket? (eg. 1201 in the video)

All is working same, but in client, you put ip of the computer, wich is running server. The number is called port. There are many of them. Example HTTP's port number is 80. And yes, they should have same port number. The server is listening on some port. If client tries to connect to the server with wrong port, then connection cannot come.
