I'd say that people don't sound like what he's using as his typical voice, naturally. Personally, I'm not a fan of them doing awkward voices like that, but if that's what they want to do, good luck to them. I worry it might be too rough on his throat to keep it up all the time, but maybe not for an hour or two a day. 🤷‍♀ Ultimately, it's his choice and his problem, not mine, and I hope he sees success with whichever way he chooses to do it. He may change his mind later, and he may not.

he's using vocal techniques here to change between pitch and tone. for those who may be flabber gasted or confused his normal character voice is used by sound from the back of the throat to give it that deep monotone sound with a bit of gruf then his second voice in this clip is an inflection coming from shorter breaths an comes from the upper part of the vocals so it would be a much more effort induced voice to produce because he is stiffing his natural breathing in order to get that pitch. if you listen again closely to his character voice you can actually hear what his natural tone would sound like if he were to speak normally i'd suggest using good headphones though it can be difficult to notice if you're using loud speakers or cheap ear buds
