Chat with Jen Beeman of Grainline Studio Pattern Company

Welcome to the new Featured Company series on PatternReview. A pattern from an indie designer is more than what's in the envelope. They put a lot more of themselves in their patterns.
In this episode Deepika is chatting with Jen Beeman of Grainline Patterns. Jen wanted to make sewing more accessible to everyone and when she couldn't find many patterns with modern silhouettes (no offense to the party dresses!) she decided to start her own pattern line - Grainline Studio. All of their patterns are thoroughly tested and thoughtfully designed for the modern maker. Jen is also an avid knitter. She lives in Chicago with her husband Jon and two bugles.
