Chatar plain snowfall

From Shinkiari to KKH climbs through pine plantation into a picturesque bowl called Chattar plain ( named for Chattar Singh another Sikh general).
It is located 1 and half hour from Mansehra,i s a classic tracking area. The people may be a bit conservative but are fantastic when it comes to 'mehman' [guests]. After a while they will become friendly, once your aura has subsided.
now a days Chattar Plain is covered by snow, people go there to enjoy the snow.
Chattar Plain is an excellent outing place ,many hotels are there including Chattar Motel and restaurant, Affaq hotel and the recently constructed PTDC.
