You do a walk around Paris and get a dislike. The hate runs deep. Nice walk.

I've lived in Paris, London and Amsterdam. Seen a lot of racism against Africans in my travels throughout Euorope. Once I open my mouth and they figured out that I was African American, I got a totally different vibe. African Americans have some sort of black priveledge when traveling abroad that other African Diasporians don't. Bottom line, these countries can still be racist as hell.

I feel like black French get a different kind of racism, mainly consisting of negative comments or discrimination. But do you all experience systematic racism, like with the justice system and law enforcement? When I went to France I definitely felt more accepted by whites and alot less racial profiling. I went where ever wanted and I never felt like people were looking at me like a "suspicious black person". Also the police never stopped me. In the US whites are often ready to call the police if your in their neighborhood. I'm black American.

Black Americans are seen different to the rest of us in the diaspora. In France especially they have a special Status because of their roll in liberating the country. It’s not really fair, as west Africans also fought just as hard.

@@TUNTALKS Interestingly enough, it seems like black britts get a lot more respect than blk Americans (here in the US) and are looked at in a better light by white Americans. I think the UK accent gives them the perception that you all are more educated and classy compared to blk Americans. 😂 I'm sure in alot of cases that could be true.

@@nakho3550 Some of you are, some of you are not. It’s the same in most African ethnicities around the diaspora. But it’s good that at least the French appreciate what the AAs did. for them.

The language spoken by the original black French. When white people invaded Europe they adopted the names and languages of the original people. How many people knew that?😊
