I bet this has been said before but, this podcast is basically what we all loved about JRE pre Spotify. You still get some gems every now and again on rogan but this podcast is consistently delivering amazing guests with amazing topics that dive Into conspiratorial topics that rogan no longer entertains PLUS guests that are just flat out entertaining and interesting. I am so glad I found this pod

This copyright crap about images used to train means everyone who ever looked at anything ever in there life owes royalties to that thing for giving them inspiration and ideas. AI generated images are not copy paste or edits of existing work, they are made from learning patterns just like LLM's do not cut and edit source material. Hurts my brain when people like Neil Degrass talk on AI and have zero idea how it works.. Props to Vernon for actually educating himself on the topic

Definitely the most compelling argument I have heard in regards to A.I. We create but ultimately it's up to us on how we interpret the construction of our own creations. We will always put a human aspect on the things we create and compare them or it to one another. If chat gpt can ultimately improve itself over time with our prompts and help as a whole then great but then there is no telling what others might use this tool for, Madness!

Why would it matter if A.I. uses copyright images. If it is just using the image for a reference and as long as it is not just spitting out an exact copy of an image then how is it any different from an artist studying images in school to become the genre of artist that they become, would that just make the created image an image that referenced previous images to become what it has been created as?

Btw, when it comes to cloning you can not choose the age, since the clone still needs to be born and grow up like any other animal. So even if you clone your pet it will never be the same, since all animals are products of their environment and it's "personality" and behavior will be influenced mostly by how it is raised. Just saying...

For anyone who knows anything about lyrical rap... The computer can write 32 bar verses in SECONDS. In most cases it's good. The AI doesn't have the best style, but, it can write bars (and novels) thousands of times faster than the best minds on the planet. Anyone with any kind of proofreading skills can just use AI, make some minor adjustments and pretend they're lyrical geniuses. Kinda whack if you ask me. It's like artists that trace but way worse. Reality's become a big lying match. Can't lie to god though. People'll get theirs eventually.

Hey Danny my thoughts on AI robots and whether or not they are conscious. I think until we start seeing/hearing about "AI robots throwing themselves from the 30th story because a girlfriend cheated on 'em!" If AI starts displaying some of these bad habits that humans have. those habits that we hide from ourselves and the public. then I think they're just acting like they're human. if I meet a AI robot at a 12-step meeting (AA)maybe it's become conscious. until then it's just mirroring human consciousness. Id love to know what you and your guests would add to this.
