What about the length of chapters when writing novels. Because after a certain amount of words, it loses track and goes crazy completely changing the plot. Is there any update on that issue?

"Ai PDF" doesn't allow me to summarize documents longer than 4 pages. For example, if the document has 17 pages, it summarizes only the first 4 even though specific commands have been given to summarize the others as well. Do you know plugins that summarize entire gpt chat pdfs?

Can this work with more than 1 pdf at a time? I am using chatgpt as a pseudo DM for single player RPGs and I have been looking at feeding the rule and lore books in to it. I know chatwithRTX can handle more than 1 at once, but it has a more limited language model.

Just click on your profile picture at the bottom left, then click on "Settings and Beta" and then, going to "Beta features" enable the "Advanced data analysis" setting, in this way it should unlock you on the left of the chat "+" symbol, where you can forward your documents to Chat GPT 4

There don't seem to be any limits right now. I dropped in 300 page PDF no problem.

​@@daraghmwalsh Jesus these new "youtubers" that are spawning trying to monetize the trend, and cannot even deduce what these questions are about. Given the 32k context of chatgpt4 (if I recall correctly), yes, you really are limited to around 20k words. He won't go farther than that. Then, we still don't know what it does, if you have specific questions it might go and look for the specific paragraph reducing his context overload dynamically, but I doubt that. Also Great Gatsby in this video is misleading: it is a well known book and once he knows that it is the Great Gatsby, he knows everything there is to ask about it already, without even looking for the pdf anymore. Just such a bad demonstration

Good question. I've just uploaded copyright free books or financial reports for public companies. But Im not sure it could detect copyrighted material. Definitely don't upload any highly private information via PDF or to ChatGPT in general.

I'm seeing the same error message. I think their servers are overloaded again. Lots of people using DALL E3. Was like this when they launched a year ago. It took them a couple of weeks to stabilise then. Hopefully quicker this time!

I Wished you would have mentioned how inaccurately GPT4 still handles long text. It fails to notice whole passages, paragraphs etc... it has these issues with pdfs, txt, doc files. Unless this isn't solved i won't use it for papers, books,etc. I'm a bit disappointed that you would post this video about Chatgpts new pdf skills, without mentioning the above mentioned immense flaws...
