This is my second video about Open Interpreter, with many new features and much more stability, the new Open Interpreter is amazing.
Update: Mixtral 7x8b wasn't working for me because I didn't have my GPU turned on, so it was running on pure CPU. 🤦‍♂️
Enjoy :)

They should implement function sharing so that the finished error free code can be uploaded to a database that could have functions pulled, also for further LLM training. PS What I suggested creates potential security vulnerabilities, so extra filters would need to be implemented. PS2 It's much easier for an LLM to analyze the code than to create it(for security issues)

Thanks for sharing, this is great! I totally agree with you that AI driven architecture is the future of OS. In the not too distant future, when we have AGI, I can imagine that programs will not be monolithic entities, but rather more of a Linux style toolset approach, where each application just provides instructions for the AI on how to accomplish a given task. The AI could use those "applications" as needed to produce the desired result. The AI could create the interface on-the-fly to suit your needs, and your particular workflow. Eventually we could end up with the Star Trek holodeck, but in the near term we can approximate it on our screens.

Interesting video :) However: „I have a MacBook Pro M2 Ultra“. Congrats in that case! For being the first person on the planet for having that config ;) did you mean to say MacBook Pro with the M2 Pro, Max or a Mac with an M2 Ultra? And how many GB unified memory? (Since that is the bottle neck) Also, while I get the appeal of being able to control the whole computer by just chatting / talking to the computer, there will always be some kind of graphical user interface that displays data and allows us to work with them. But totally agree with AI / LLMs becoming the center point of our computers.

"interpreter -y" is how Skynet starts 🤣 I'm a big fan of GPTs in general, but this is a hugely resource-intensive replacement for a UI. What's the killer app for this? Command-lines are completely general, so a single assistant to replace all apps may be interesting, but, at this rate, future computers will need massively powerful GPUs just to run the command line...

Wow! Self-correcting! Haven't seen that before (and yes, I do not use ChatGPT 4). I am still rather new to all this. I was wondering if you could make a tutorial about all those 7B, 11B, 13B... numbers. It seems there is a logic behind that, because it seems there aren't any 15B or 23B or 4.75B models out there. So far I haven't found a source that would help me understand. So I wonder if I could motivate you to cover the topic of models? 🙄
@Alice_Fumo
@Alice_Fumo 3 ай бұрын
The numbers tell you how many parameters a model has which is indicative of the quality of their outputs and the amount of memory required to load it as well as the inference speed. For example, you'd expect a 14b model to perform better than a 7b model, but take twice the RAM and be twice as slow. The reason it is rare to see numbers which aren't 7 or 13 is that the vast majority of models are based off of Metas llama model, which just happened to be this size. To get a rough estimate of the RAM requirements of a model, you can divide by 2 if 4 bit or multiply by 2 in 16 bit precision. Thus the lowest possible amount of memory used by a 7b model in 4bit mode would be 3.5 gigabyte, but it's typically a little bit higher.

Probably not, ChatGPT is extremely stupid for actual work... it's very good at "these demonstrations" but when you do actual work it's stupid like a brick. If your code is unique and not some general thing it will struggle or find "errors" where no errors are present also sometimes it would struggle to correct your wrong code or it's own wrong code.... or the "correction" will break the code even more. I have extremely bad experience, but some people say it's good. Maybe for some generic code... it's super good, but for unique code (not found in simple Google search) it's trash.... at least that's what I think.

@@wow35master You can still try it, it might work in your case. GPT4 seems to be more impressive to people who never interacted with it or in some specific cases, but overall I think it's not good enough it's not like a human it can't learn anything new and even things it already know (it can choose to forget for some reason). I was very impressed in the initial tests but then when I tried to implement it on my actual workflow it just doesn't work. It either slows me down or confuses me more in harder tasks, on easy tasks I can already do them faster. It's like a genious but sometimes it's brainless and it's like forgot how much is 1 + 1 (*figuratively speaking).
