I personally have been finding success with perplexity by just bouncing a copied version of the into it from the line editor and describing the errors as described by the compiler's debugger verbatim with additional custom instructions as needed.

I am not at expert level either, but I guess for me it was in the past when I developed a Donchian Channel strategy, that I had to remove the "offset" and offset=offset.. I don't know if that helps for your code as well.. Good luck finding the solution

Omg, what else can we plug in? Not sure if you made an auto trend line or auto fib strategy I will scroll through your works again. I would also like to know when to use (brackets > brackets[1]). I also struggle with coding the conditions, I see patterns but struggle getting it to behave accordingly, eg ta.falling(HTFma1,1) or HTFma1 < “ “[1]. Often it returns nothing and it doesn’t work in strategy. Perhaps I should be floating it. Especially for entry conditions.

Hello Matt, I was trying to code a yearly vwap for intraday timeframe but I'm unable to figure it out yet. like today is 4 May 2024, I want my indicator to anchor on 4 May 2023 and roll forward day by day Is it possible to anchor it in such a way? if I anchor it at "12M" it anchors at 1 January 2024. anchorInput = input.timeframe("12M", "Anchor period") Any ways to do it?

Invest your time in Pine Script rather than pay for something that asks you to top up credits. It's that paradox of subscription based products will prey on lazy people... But lazy people don't typically make money.

Totally disagree. Tools like this can massively speed up your development process if used properly. I'm talking from experience, coding is my daily job. It does not take away deep understanding of what exactly you're doing and want to achieve, but it's really good at saving you typing work, especially if you're just like coding down an algorithm

@@stephenlee-burman3565 I have a good understanding of Pine Script but that doesn't mean that to try the paid service and take advantage of the trial credits I have to pay for it before understanding if it can be useful to me, I already use artificial intelligence but outside of Tradingview, I'm not rich and I don't know if it's worth paying for another service, also because this moment is a study period and I still can't recover my money with automatic trading, all the scripts I've created or tried don't have a profitability that satisfies me, I it seems legitimate before being able to do the trial period to decide whether to pay for this service is not to do the trial after I have paid otherwise the developer should not do a trial period and should say that the service is paid only

with only 3000 credits, you need to be very very specific and know exactly what to test, or else I just casually asked 2-3 questions just to test the edge bar chatbox and inline generator, then when I'm about to really try something useful, then I run out of credit, and it seems they don't add any credit each day, so I stick with using Poe for free instead.

We pay for words now?! It’s incredible, such a useful tool and already hampered from the start. Typical. What will happen in the end we will start to rely on the A.I. so much we will loose the skills we don’t use. My prediction is, it’s going to be less and less skilled programmers and we will rely on the A.I. more and more with increasing costs of using it. And how do you pay for subscriptions if you can’t do your job in the first place and get paid. It’s a death spiral… Yes, while I’m impressed with the A.I. I see it as the means to end human creativity and brain evolution.

Your video provides great information, but you... First: need to stop moving the mouse's courser around the screen for no good reason (...very distracting and annoying. Point to what you want us to notice and then STOP.) and...
