You also forgot to mention that if you pay for ChatGPT, you also get access to the advanced voice model. I’ve actually used it as a translator in an Uber ride.

I’ll never willingly give Meta any more info than they already have about me. But can y’all at CNET give more screen time to Microsoft Co-pilot? I love its interface and gets way too slept on

It is a bit disconcerting how much more of a profile these companies can create on you with these tools in addition to what they already do.

Agree, I use an iphone which doesn't have a native Gemini app but the workaround is I saved the Gemini site as a bookmark on the homescreen. I'm able to do voice commands as well! Much better than meta ai and chatgpt in my opinion

Chatgpt is clearly better, but will shut you down once you've reached the input limit. If you purchase the paid version, you'd get more time, but even there, Chatgpt will tell you that you've reached a limit and won't be able to continue unti a set time. Meta isn't as good, but isn't bad. Plus, they're not capping your usage.

Misleading video. Maybe first Google what PAs do? Nobody asks their PA for a list of recommendations. They want them to do research, book/buy things at best possible prices and make sure everything related to event or dinner is sorted.

I don't get it....I will never get it....why are people praising AI for generating art.....like seriously it makes no sense. There's an anime I watched some years ago called Carol and Tuesday. its a story about 2 girls who live in a future where music is almost all AI made. these 2 girls actively make their own music and come together to form a duo band and take on its worlds version of Americas got talent or the voice where they are going up against several self proclaimed artists but they all use AI in their work while these 2 girls don't. I can imagine a future where art competitions are like this. Ai has become such a major part in art now that its just going to take over and no one is going to actually have to put in effort to make art anymore. its sad. and the simple fact that this girl doesn't even address the issue with ai art is really frustrating to me.

There will always be art made by humans despite AI taking over. I’m a watch collector so let me show you the death of real watches. Mechanical watches have been made with precision for hundreds of years, and they are an art in themselves. But in 1967 seiko released a watch called the Astron, which is 10 times more accurate than a mechanical watch for 10th the price. Fast forward to today, where an Apple Watch is 10% the price of a Rolex, literally over 1,000,000 times more accurate (assuming it is synced with the NIST atomic clock through the internet) and can do much more things than just tell time. But Rolex, as well as many watch makers, are not just still in existence, but they’re thriving. Yes I lied, “real” watches still didn’t die, more than 70 years after the birth of their superior replacement. This shows you that while AI will one day make better art and in more quantity, there will always be human artists because there will always be humans caring for human art. You can argue that AI and watches are two different things, since it’s easier to distinguish different watches than different art, but I can also argue back that as AI develops, so will our methods of distinguishing real human art from AI art, it’s already happening actually.
