my cases were packed, and left chatham late June 2019. My dad died, amd all my ties and memories since 72 from chatham had gone, I almost feel by force. I so want to go back.

I lived in Chatham and Rochester in 1978 - 79 I ve got very fond memories of Chatham I spent a lot of time in Strood too I loved Medway towns The Command House was a great pub during the early 1980s

You must remember when the Dockyard was still operating . There was a lot more money around then . The Command House is still open and is a successful pub/ restaurant . The big old Tesco is gone , it's a camping shop now .

I stayed in a hostel in the area i was greatful for the hostel putting me up as i was homeless but Chatham is a dive i couldn't wait to get out of there

Lived in Chatham 1969 to 1972. This film looks like a great improvement on those days, but it is 4 years old, so I expect it has gone downhill again, like lots of towns…… I used to like spending time at Riverside, sunbathing on the grass in the summer with my two small children. Good times, bad times…..

Debenhams closed permanently . KFC gone . Gala bingo closed down permanently . Bon Marche closing and some of the charity shops have now gone . It's dying . Little Chefs cool tho ! I often eat there .
