I'm assuming since 4.0 didn't turn out the way they'd hoped - they decided to fast track 5.0. Otherwise if 4.0 lasted another year, Nopixel would probably lose everyone.

@@uli11yup as you stated NP 4.0 was unfortunately a failure so the devs are fast tracking to 5.0. Hopefully they learned from their mistakes and from their competitors (Prodigy and Purple) in creating a better server for both role players and viewers.
