you can totally tell at the end that his whole demeanor changed after that jerk said “so unfunny it hurts” (5:05:44) AND the “I’m sorry I take it back, it was so funny I laughed for hours” (5:06:21). Like…it might not have bothered him to see IT, but someone just being a dick and being rude for no reason, bringing the mood down? It’d bum me out, too, and make me wanna just shut down (in terms of not joking around anymore and suddenly be quiet). THEN the next birdbrain w the “F+. you still failed, but good try, idiot” like WHHYYY?? Ik they probably meant that one as a harmless joke but it just makes me so mad.
