At 63, I’m just beginning to learn the Tarot. I’m so drawn to the down to earth conversation from Melissa… I talk like she does…swear words and all but she is real and I love it!

Can't.Wait.For.Kate's.New.Deck. Seriously, what an awesome interview. Love love love the wide ranging scope of this convo, including the respect for new readers, how Melissa approaches fear, the life lessons, and the general boundary setting. Mad love. Mad respect. Bless you. Thank you.

I loved this interview sooo much!! Literally had me chuckling out loud at points. I could happily watch you two doing a regular tarot chat together - 2 of my favourite tarot people, so different, but both so inspiring in your different ways😊

That was a great interview. Thanks very much Kate. What a down to earth person with some crystal clear insights Melissa was. On the one hand she projects super confidence but also exposes that soft underbelly of insecurity. I like how she thought of you Kate as the Hierophant. That’s spot on and probably matches that yoga aspect that’s shown in the everyday witch deck card. I am going to have to give serious thought to what card Melissa is. Its not clear to me yet as there are some contradictions but a very compassionate and wise person. Oh I must mention since Melissa used the analogy of a bird making a nest out of hair that in old English tradition from some locations it was thought that if a bird made a nest out of your hair clippings then you would have headaches or bad dreams. I was also hoping we would get to see her dog. Anyone with furry friends is good people in my book.

I’m 46 as well with a Sadge stellium too (Sun Merc Neptune N Node Venus)…been reading since I was 8 when I got my first deck (Aquarian) and book (Eden Gray’s). Have done public readings in my 20s and 30s but have settled into friend readings and for myself nowadays. I have experienced exactly what Melissa is talking about. I’m in healthcare too (I’m a nurse). I think being a reader before I became a nurse (20 yrs ago) helped me to keep boundaries with all the people you encounter as a nurse in a hospital 😌 One of my rules is not to mix spirits (drinking) with spirits 😄 when I did it a few times, I was not in best form.

I'd listen to the whole thing, but her language is too harsh for me. That's my preference. Anyway, I like interview series. I want to be introduced to new readers and different perspectives.
