I have found this woman to be amazing! I only heard of her from youtube being she has written a book on Harry and Megan. I have since watched many of her youtube interviews and find her truly amazing. I can hardly wait for her book to come out. I used to read a lot...years ago...but I will be reading her new book, and will be watching her interviews. She is very interesting!

There is definitely something worthwhile in having a Jamaican upbringing. Having been born and brought up there more than 85 years ago, I identify so well with Lady C. I emigrated to Canada at age 20 and never regretted going back to live in Jamaica until now. Wish I could meet her. I have very much in common with her, minus her wealth , but the views are much the same, especially regarding the race questions. Totally Colonial when I grew up. I loved it, sitting in a mango tree doing my homework after school.

I would not miss it for the world. If I may pose some questions to Lady C: I am so interested in the beautiful Castle Goring. Restoring it was clearly a massive project, I can hardly wrap my mind around the scale of this enterprise. Furnishing the castle was equally important - acquiring the right pieces that compliment the architecture and convey the elegance of years gone by. Please tell us about this. Whether you had to acquire most of the furnishings, or whether you already had some pieces. Whether there are any family heirlooms in the castle.

I was born in London but my ancestry is Jamaican. I agree, “politicians are our enemies”. Jamaica is still a beautiful country but the inequity due the policies of politicians have sunk the country into debt not only to the IMF but now China as well.

It was a very magical time in Jamaica.... pristine and idyllic... and add in a tropic climate and a stunning Caribbean island. It truly felt like paradise.

wendigo1919 when I was a young girl in Jamaica I remember the Zadies .. probably the wealthiest family in Jamaica; it's quite possible my mum might have worked as a house keeper before her migration to the UK and left my sister ini in a boarding school .. The reason I remember the Zadie name is that there was an Airplane accident and the eldest son died .. i suppose that was her brother. .. it was devastation to the family and all the adults were shocked and even us little kids felt it and a bit of innocence Was lost .. So when I see Lady C she is a part of my childhood .. without having met her and it's quite interesting !! When she speaks we are hearing Colonial History .. fastening Love and blessings Lady C ❤️🙏🏾

I really like Lady C. She was talking (at the time she recorded this) about 50,000 dying in the UK. Indeed that was the estimated figure. Now (2021) it’s standing at over 126,000 and counting. The suggestion of people signing a form to say if they choose to not be in lockdown and get coronavirus the NHS will not treat them, is frankly ridiculous. But that’s my opinion. Lady C is, of course free to share hers.

I read Lady Cs book about Diana years ago, I wasn’t sure who Lady C was so I looked at her life. I saw then how she was able to give a marvellous account of Diana, also an education in how British aristocracy works, which was a large part of Diana’s Fate in marrying Prince Charles. Fascinating - I feel she was able to write that in such a real and honest way was because she wasn’t a product of the aristocracy, but with privilege so saw it from both sides.
