Grab a project and come crochet with me. I'm showing how I crochet a feeding tube pad, but you can work on a different project while I chat with you. This is an easy pattern for a feeding tube pad with only 3 rows. Made with cotton yarn and an H 5mm hook.
It’s a Beautiful Day To Crochet!
Thank you for watching. I appreciate you all.

Omg kayla I've never thought of this....I feel almost dumb that I've never thought of this for myself, my son (before he passed away)nor my brother. I will get busy crocheting a ton of them right now!!! My brother's tube leaks a lot, a lot so he will benefit from these so much!!! Thank you!

I'm so happy this video can help someone in need of tube pads. My tube leaks A LOT too. My son had a tube for 16 years and had very little to no leakage. Thank you for letting me know this will be helpful to you!

@@LlamaMamaKayla my tube was zero leakage also. Our sons had a little but my brothers tube leaks , I'm assuming, like yours. My brother can probably go through 4 or 5 of these pads a day. I really hope he likes them! Thanks again kayla!

Hi Kayla, what a great idea!! You can save $$$. For everyone that has an issue with ants ... You can use cinnamon. It is safe for feline fur babies. The ants do not like it. Also safe for your plants. Especially vegetable plants. Sprinkle it in your garden. Have a wonderful day.

I really like your spirit. You don't allow a bad start to your day to faze you. You just keep right on going sipping another cup of tea and enjoying the rest of your day. That's how we should all be. I just love how you keep a positive spirit despite all 💕 Nice , easy pattern for the tubie pad. If I ever had a need for one or get to know someone who would appreciate a homemade tubie pad, I'd make as many as needed just like you showed us in a heartbeat!

Gosh, I do enjoy spending time with you. I love you, Kayla. This is a terrific tutorial. You are so precise, calm, and delightful. Love you, dearly. Hugs, and prayers. I will definitely check with Mission’s Hospital about donating these. Much love to you, and Jody. Glad you two are chilling and spending time together. That is so important. ❤ I forgot to add, my mornings, mishap. When I was pouring hummingbird food into a jar, I didn’t realize it was a canning jar lid. Yep, you guessed it, I remove the ring, but the seal flat portion, was still on. Sugar water was poured all over the kitchen counter, stove, cutting board, trivet, and cabinet door. I some how managed to miss the floor! Things happen, it is life. Note to self, focus, and pay attention to what you are doing! 😂

Imagine having to go crochet! About 8 months ago I myself found myself in a bad health situation and I wasn’t doing well emotionally with it. Stress was making it worse and I found myself stuck in bed with nothing but KZbin and social media. I was losing my mind. My doctor suggested I crochet and while I’m still sick and healing I’m not depressed I’m just busy crocheting. If I’m stressed I must crochet. It’s like an off switch. I need that to deescalate my anxiety which makes my health spiral. So in fact I also must go crochet a lot and fortunately I have the ability to do so. I feel like as long as I know how to crochet I’ll never be bored again. Restless yes, bored no.

Hi Kayla your design is great. I just wanted to give you a suggestion when you launder all the little pads. I suggest you buy a mesh bag and when you change it out you just throw it into the mesh bag and then just zip it up when it’s time to launder them and you can throw the bag into the dryer too. Keeps them altogether so you are not hunting for them all over your basket of laundry. Amazon sells them. Love all your videos !!

It looks like something that could be made smaller if need be, I think you mentioned using different stiches for these. Praying y'all are ok with the storms. Our 2nd home in the Dallas/Fort Worth area had some nasty storms rolling through. Apparently storm chasers were out recording. That is one thing I will have to get used to is all those storm sirens!

You did a super fantastic job!!!🏆 Kudos to you! 🥳🥳🥳 I'm going to do some checking in my community and see if this is something that I might could make and donate, possibly to nursing homes. Thank you for your inspiration. 🥰. Sure hope you don't have really bad storms tonight. Be safe. Many blessings to you and your family as always 🙏🩷🩷🩷

In 2004, 2005 and 2006 I had 3 major abdominal surgeries. I got staff and mersa. The doctors originally told me there was no infection. I had some type of open wound for 8 years. I was horribly depressed. There was so much drainage. Very expensive. My insurance would not cover gauze or any kind of medical tape. My sister in law inquired about feminine napkins. The nurse said that was fine. It was a bit cheaper but still expensive. I wish I had several of these that we could wash, bleach and reuse.

Hi Kayla! Your comment about spilling the pitcher of sweet tea - not a good way to start the day for sure!!! But I believe you make your own sweet tea, and it's gonna sound weird to someone in the south, but up here in Canada, we don't make our own sweet tea. We buy it pre-made. I would love to know how you make it as I'm sure it would be a lot cheaper than buying it. Just a video idea for you. And if I've commented on the wrong video, I'm sorry. I set a bunch to autoplay while I'm working.
