I don’t listen to music when I workout too! It’s the same exact reason you don’t listen to music at gym! Love you ❤

Absolutely love your make up conversations! So good. Emily, what day of the week do you and Kyle do your family meeting? I know he doesn’t have a ton of time and you are also very busy… Do you do it on the weekend? I have been very undisciplined in this arena and need to buckle down.

This was a great episode - I am actually going to implement some ideas. Does anyone or @Danielle Carolan know where her black top came from? It's so nice.

Emily, are you an HSP? It sounds like you are sensitive to the effects of caffeine, don't like crowds/chaotic environments and are uncomfortable with doing multiple things at once, like listening to music or a podcast while working out. You're not crazy, you just might get overwhelmed by things that the majority of people don't find so difficult to handle. ❤

Yes I am an HSP !!!!!

@@EmilyDiDonato Me too!! Have you ever/would you ever talk about how you navigate life as an HSP, I'm always interested in hearing how others with the trait cope, especially with lives that don't seem to fit the stereotypes.
@hannahmacleod35865 ай бұрын
@@DA10839 They are very different. HSP just means you're more highly sensitive to outside stimulus, taking in more and processing it more deeply than the average person. It is not associated with problems with social interactions, communication styles, repetitive behaviours and focus or anything else associated with autism. As an HSP it is important to know about the trait and manage it to avoid burnout and exhaustion, but you don't need external diagnosis or support in the same way as if you're autistic.
@hannahmacleod35865 ай бұрын
@@DA10839 I have never thought I was autistic because I'm extroverted and high sensation seeking, which a small percentage of HSP are, but obviously presents as very different to autism. A therapist suggested I read the book The Highly Sensitive Person by Elaine Aron, who is an expert in the area, which was my starting point. Dr Aron has a website and some talks on youtube if you're interested in learning more. There is a lot of popular misinformation about the trait, so I would stick to research and results by clinical psychologists if I were you.

No you just can't do that to, stop promoting this idea that if you want you can, world does not work like this.
