I love watching makeup videos with my favorite content creators. It's a cool surprise! But also, artists doing makeup videos is such a treat. I spend a lot of time dissassociating and sleeping in winter, and it kills me how little desire I have to create art. Like I'm scared that it'll be totally bunk because I feel so blah. And just starting anything feels like a tremendous herculean effort. Huge internet hugs.

This was so much fun to watch! As someone who's only now dipping her toes into makeup, I really loved your final look ❤️ I hope the psych meeting went well

yay I love these kind of chatty videos! I haven't watched makeup videos in ages but I completely get what you mean, I used to watch them to help me sleep as a teen because they are so relaxing 🥰

This is how I feel with makeup being a hobby! I use to watch art videos for fun, and now it feels more like research, or lessons or something. With makeup videos, I’m still getting that satisfaction of learning a little, but there’s no stakes and I can just enjoy it! ❤

Getting ready with you was such a treat! I’m here for this chatty format whenever you wanna pop in and do it again. 🙌 And I feel you with the makeup banned house 🙄. Makeup videos are one of my comforts and the first stuff I watched on YT. If you wanna do artist/lifestyle content - you know we’ll follow you! 😁🙌 You can take us into the kitchen and make some ravioli… I’m totally down with that! 😂 And winter just sucks the energy out of ya… I’m motivated but struggling. Especially on those overcast days… of which there are many. Bear mode is definitely how to do winter right. Thanks for the video. 💄

Such a cute video! Would love seeing more of this every now an then. I'm looking forward to spring so much, I also feel really down in the dumps in winter. I definitely sleep too much too, so any day I'm able to get a lot a done is a huge success and temporary mood booster :] Hope you have a lovely day!

Oh man I love watching how artists do their makeup and comparing how they 'draw' on their face vs the faces in their art. ...Also I am quite nosy when it comes to people's makeup routines. It's fun!

Poor Things is SUCH a wild ride, even more than Saltburn in my opinion. There were so many walk outs in the theater I was in lol
@NotesNNotes11 ай бұрын
Saltburn felt a bit forced to me - pretentious, or ostentatious, or grandiose or bombastic in the literal sense of the word, not the meme sense of the word lol - and I loved it visually! But anyway, I have high expectations for Poor Things 😊

I loved this video so much😭 I absolutely love doing my makeup and watching makeup tutorials and yours is soo fun, I love how it’s so natural but very fresh if that makes sense❤️ Also can I just say, you look so pretty even without makeup! I totally understand the seasonal depression and not feeling motivated to creat art through these yucky winter months, hang in there💕💕

1:02 totally felt ❤️🩹 edit: I’m from Seattle and the rain is fine, it’s the gray for six months out of the year that really gets depressing. Everyone has spring in March or April - and here, we have what we call “fake spring” and then “fake summer” in June 😅 it kills motivation for me edit 2: I’ve also lived in Chicago, and I absolutely loved it there ❤

Loved watching this and I know what you mean about just not having the energy to do anything, even the things you love. I also have depression (mild) but last year or two, I was just super depressed and have yet to fully get out of it. 😮💨 This made me want to put some makeup on too though 😊

I feel this so much and love that you decided to touch up on this subject.. im a fulltime mom. I used to have a job but since i was so stressed out and depressed i became forgetful and had to quit.. Depression is so overwhelming. Its wild how it affects everyone diffrrently but like you i just have no energy to do anything. When i say this i mean.. creatively, things that i used to love to do like read or play games. Sometimes games help distract my mind but it just depends. This winter has been rough for me. You are not alone. My best friend gets seasonal depression wintertime is her enemy. This year is the first year im actually understanding this. It really sucks.. i just want this feeling to go away. 😓 I hope things get better for you. 💕

Saying this with love to anyone who needs to hear it: sometimes you NEED to do nothing and be happy doing it (at least content) but you're not GIVING yourself permission to be content doing nothing, and you call it being depressed. I'm hearing Sara and all I'm thinking is "what's wrong with hibernating and enjoying sleeping 12 hours a day for a couple months a year if you have this privilege?" which Sara even says she enjoys anyway i've heard before that most cases of depression are a form of resistance and couldn't fathom why because depression sounded like the opposite of resistance. but i'm starting to see why. Maybe sometimes your body knows best and it WANTS the break, yes even from things you normally enjoy doing!! so let it have it without the guilt and the questioning and the "when will this be overrr so i can be ~productive~ again" because then you're just spending the time to rest without actually giving yourself permission to. Hence the endless gazing into the void without actually resting. Although Sara you do sound like you have enough self love and respect to let yourself have what you need (more than most), and you're nourishing yourself with good homemade food

Oh my god... I was honestly so glad and like "my depression is OVER. I AM SO GOOD NOW." and then you said.... I am happy, jus clinically depressed and don't have energy. And for like the longest of time I am happy, everything is fine... I just don't have energy and I seem to need so much sleep. And I was so sure it's just some vitamins in my blood that I lack... but my blood is fine. And now that I think about it... I enjoy so many things but I am not doing anything for awhile... looks like my depression is not exactly gone... damn.

I'm so sorry to hear that! I have been feeling it extra hard this winter, but I'm doing my best to take walks and eat healthy and have a regular sleep schedule. It doesn't fix it all, but it helps me feel less "hopeless" having a stricter routine. I get to be excited for my nighttime show, or crafting!

Wow, I'm early!! 🤭✨🫶 I hope you had a wonderful New Year's. This kind of "sit down and catch up" video is my kind of vibe! It would be so cool if you told some stories from your travels through Trova Trip, especially when you visited Japan. I really look forward to going there one day, so I'm glad you went!
