Happy new year everyone! We have finally recovered from the never ending flu and I can speak again, not sure if everyone's happy about that or not but I am!
This video will give you a run down of our miserable Christmas that we tried desperately to salvage and a haul of the awesome Christmas gifts I was given this year!

Your complaints are valid and I'm glad you all made it through and I'm sure enjoying your new year and creating new magical plans for the upcoming seasons. I got sick last year for the holidays (and year-end shutdown) and this year I was so very annoying at keeping myself well. And our washer just died-so I feel you. I'm not a perfume person due to allergies, but I am a bottle person and your perfume bottles were a match just waiting to happen, how cute!! I'm also a sucker for journals and fancy paper and yes of course!, we can all be rich ladies from Beverly Hills...for at least a few minutes each day. I was shopping an after Christmas clearance for candles to journal by (game changer for journaling, such joy) and totally thought of you shopping the super clearance section and what magnificent masterpieces you would be creating next. Thank you for a fun video to enjoy some quiet time and my Sunday morning coffee.

Oh Melissa I’m so sorry you were all so ill leading up to and over Christmas it’s awful being sick at that time of year and the flu ( the real flu) takes so long to get over and leaves you feeling so weak and lethargic. Hopefully you are all on the mend now…..the Christmas decorating you did manage were truely lovely and next Christmas will arrive before we know it!!! Happy New Year 🎉❤

Happy new year. Your christmas gifts are wonderful. Enjoy your recovery. I had to postpone Christmas day like Castro in the old days, but he tho postponed Christmas all together. I got what we can call stomach flu. But it was just for 24 hours fortunately.🎄🎆❤

Melissa, I feel like I know you! About 5 years ago, when my son was 2, we looked forward to a much needed holiday for months. The first day of the holiday: I had the most awful stomach bug FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK. I couldn't go swimming or spend time with my family. I cried I was so disappointed. Thankfully my boy did not get it. Disappoint is awful though when you are a naturally joyful person x

@pretendshoppingwithmelissa It really is! I have also had a couple of Christmas' in hospital and the last 4 of my birthdays my son has been ill! It's ridiculous!
