For anyone who doesn't understand being uncomfortable on the phone if others can hear, try looking at it this way (instead of a my significant other is being sneaky)...whoever you are on the phone with deserves the respect of privacy. I don't know about y'all, but I can still pick up a lot from a conversation by only hearing one side speak. Who is to say that the person on the phone wants others to know what they are telling you? We shouldn't have to make a disclosure to friends every time we talk. Having your privacy feeling violated is the absolute worst. Just keep this in mind, so you don't unknowingly violate someone's privacy. 💙

I agree 100%, I have had this happen to me where I was on the phone with someone and telling something personal to a friend and her husband and sister were in the room and I had no idea. Her sister came up to me two days later and asked how I was. I realized she was there during the conversation and was so embarrassed! I never told the friend but I also didn’t think I should have to even explain why I would be mad. I’m still friends with her but now I know to never tell her anything on the phone.

It has nothing to do with trust or that they’ll judge you, it’s just a weird looming uncontrollable thing that surfaces, maybe due to perfectionism or patterns from growing up around overly critical people, who knows 🤔 I have no problem goofing around making an a$$ of myself with him. Could be because we aren’t used to “performing” in front of our loved ones, that we think it’s weird or inauthentic for them to catch glimpses of us in those states. I love this look, I’m gonna try to recreate it with an elf bite size palette and my coloured raine palette . 😘
