My daughter loves to wrap and I joyfully let her wrap everyone else’s but her own. Don’t know if your oldest would/could do this. Merry Christmas!

We’re almost there but not quite there to have them wrap, they’re in the stage where they would hold it over each other’s head that they know what the gifts are. Maybe next year lol

So we have Christmas at my Mom’s every year . I don’t wrap my kids gifts at all. I just sit them out under the tree. My mom love to wrap and all her wrapping paper is Angel themed . It works out for me because I hate wrapping …. Kids get the fun of unwrapping a bunch of presents from grandparents and the fun of just waking up to stuff out in the open .

I've done different paper for each child is in the past. Now I put presents in piles per child so I would have 4 piles and wrap presents with whatever paper and then put name tags on them.

Walmart and dollar tree have bags in different sizes, including the giant bags. Save your self anxiety and wrap as you buy. You got some nice items there.

When I was a child, my parents put the tree & gifts inside a play pen. I only know this from photos, but I remember Mum saying it worked well. Another idea is to put all the gifts out Christmas eve after the baby has gone to bed. Even with my niece & nephew being older, I don't put their presents out until Christmas Eve. I usually have to do that with Mums presents too.

Same. I love how they look under the tree so i want them out as soon as possible. I wrap and put them under the tree as i buy them so they pile grows everyday. My 4 and 3 year olds love it.@@ChristyGior8

The way I do it with my little ones is on Christmas morning I get up at the buttcrack of dawn and make sure the house is ready and make breakfast. When the kids get up Santa’s gifts are always unwrapped and set with their stockings so they go to those first then we have breakfast and on the bottoms of their plate is a piece of the paper that their gifts are wrapped in

I started putting them out on Christmas Eve when my teens were younger as I found out they were peeking and retaping them 😂

Question, are name tags for gifts not a thing anymore?? That's what we did in our house and still do.

I still use gift tags for my family/friends and lots of people I know use them HOWEVER gift tags with larger families can be a decent additional expense. I have one child, and a small extended family so it’s not a big deal for us 😅

I don’t for my family because it’s one less step to do color coded wrapping. I do for family and friends gifts.
