Eliza`s Pourekia is a great treat. Our friends enjoyed them after dinner, which we had at the event, for the elderly, in the village of Silikou in Limassol.
Ingredients for the dough A) 2 cups 300 g hard flour (rustic). B) 65 ml of seed oil. C) Half a teaspoon of 3 g of salt. D) 250 ml lukewarm water (as long as it takes).
Ingredients for the filling A) Half a kilo of unsalted myzithra. B) 2 tablespoons of flower water, C) 2-3 tablespoons of sugar, depending on preference. D) 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
We will need seed oil for frying and at the end, we will add powdered sugar to them preferably.
