Extremely good story which is will played by talented artists. The stuck door is a symbol of her half closed heart. The closed door opened when she opens her heart. She finally realized that providing food to a starving man is far better than leaving food in front of god statues. In fact God likes us to help others and that is the correct way of worshiping.

The opening of the door was a metaphor of her closed mind and heart opening. 💕. Beautifully depicted that hungry human beings need food and not idols/gods.

I have watched this several times over the years.... and have loved it every single time... The first shot - absolutely beautiful - with the door half open, a blue door against the stone wall, with the sun just about rising, makes the most perfect frame. and then finished it with the open doors.... such few words and yet every scene hits home. Love IT!

खरंच ही शॉर्ट फिल्म बघून मला रडायला आले.घरी आलेला गरीब माणूस, त्याच्यात पण काय माणुसकी होती. दिलेल्या शिळ्या भाकरीच्या बदल्यात अंगण झाडून गेला, पण बाईचं मन आधी काठोरच होतं, पण शेवटी तिला जाणवलं, दगडाच्या मुर्त्या न पुढे मोठा नेवेद्य ठेवला पण जगत्या जिवंत म्हाताऱ्या माणसाकडे दुर्लक्ष केले. शेवटी तिचे जे मन बदलले आणि नेवेद्य जगत्या माणसाला दिला ज्याला त्याची गरज होती. देव हा वरून बघत असतो आपले मन ..तुमच्या समोर किती जण मदतीला आले आणि कितीना तुम्ही मदत केली..सगळ्याचा जाब वरती गेल्यावर आपल्याला द्यायचा आहे..
