Like him or not, it’s cool to see someone happy after 4 years of coaching a losing team. He looked proud of the effort and the style of play on the court. It was fun to watch.

Yes, he's been doing a good job lately, I agree. But the ball movement didn't come from him, it came from Deni because it's contagious what he's doing this year in Portland. This is the exact same team from last year, the team that didn't know how to move the ball at all, and then Deni came in and look what a miracle, everyone passes, everyone shares the ball. So the credit goes to Deni, sorry.

@eyaltal1598 The ball wasn't moving in Washington... It takes more than one piece to make a puzzle. Both have credit and also the players who are moving the ball.

Bro is messing up the Tankathon lol Seriously, though, Chauncey was put in a tough spot by management to coach a tanking team right off the bat and I don’t blame him a bit for finally showing his chops because even if Cronin is planning to let him go, he still needs to audition for a new job. He seems like a good dude and the players really seem to like him.

@ You’re talking about two drafts that were handled by completely different owners and GM’s than the ones we have now, so I don’t really get your comment about management “always” trying to screw over the team, like it’s a conspiracy spanning decades, involving completely different people with a mission to keep the team mediocre or whatever. The Jordan draft was over 40 years ago…

The correct take.

This win really snapped me out of my tankathon mindset. I hope wins like this are what help build the team to the contender we can become.

I think our young kids are going to be just fine given another year and a change here but don’t get rid of clingon or sharpe or Henderson you can build around this team because even the back up are almost as good as the starters so I think everybody can learn
