These are 16 thou BTE, (in the hollow grind). I’m not sure how yours is 25. Other pocket clips can be used on these also. That’s why there are 3 tapped holes on each side for the clip, (while the Chavez clips only use two). I paid $165 for my TAK recently, (retail new). I don’t really agree with your assessment of this one. I like mine quite a bit.

The TAK was one of the first knives i bought in this price range. I’ve always had a thing for Chaves knives, and i was pretty stoked to see one a more “normal” sized one. And damn, like i knew my hands were small, but i can easily get a full 4 finger grip on the TAK. Def agree with all your points on the review.
