Seeing "gakitsuka" was an annual event on December 31st for Japanese people. But it was canceled from the TV program at the end of 2021. The reason is that "painful laughter leads to bullying". Japanese TV is getting boring more and more 😢

Gaki no Tsukai's Batsu Games are fucking amazing man. They are long as shit, but they are time well spent, especially if you try to play along and not laugh. They are also a brutal drinking game, if you drink every time you laugh. If you laugh every time they laugh, you'll probably die of alcohol poisoning.

"State" in Japanese is pronounced "shuu". That's why people get hung up on "chu", because it's hard to say "mass-a-chu-se-tsu shuu" cleanly even as a native English speaker.
